MAP sensor not working

Post by wazza »

I'm new to all this..the car is at the dyno shop..we've set tps and got it to idle..when viewing the tune screen the dial for the MAP sensor doesn't move..we've removed the vacuum line off the motor and pulled it out to check for kinks and blockages..nothing found..even sucking through the vacuum line doesn't change the reading..this causes the obvious running to rich problems so we've had to back the fuel down just to keep it running..any thought suggestions would be a huge help..thanks MS 11 is about all I can tell you just now..this even has my dyno guy stumped..

Check the MAP sensor pins for bridged or cold joints (re-flow the solder joints.)

What voltage do you read at pin 1 of the MAP sensor with the key on and the engine off?
