Ecu in car location

Will the headunit make any electrical noise or interference on the ECU?
I find it to be the best place because of wiring simplicity and communication...

More likely is the other way round - the ECU will interfere with the radio. A good place for the ECU is to make a kickboard in the passenger footwell across the bulkhead, and fit it behind that.
