1988 tpi harness ?

1988 tpi harness ?

hey i have a 1988 350 tpi out of a roc and i want to put it into my 92 rs and put a turbo on it and run megasquirt now i have the entire harness out of the 88 and i don't want to butcher the harness up if i don't need to what do i need to do to run megasquirt 2 i saw they have a adapter board for tpi how do put it into ms2 ? i really appreciate any advice you guys have

The adapter board is stuffed into a stock ECU case. We have a write up of it here:

Or you could use a DIYBOB - it's a GM connector on a breakout circuit board that would let you make an adapter harness.

thanks now with the diybob how would i install it sorry its kinda hard for me to imagine how this whole wiring thing is gunna go when i dont have ms2 and the bob thing to look at

The DIYBOB contains a circuit board that you solder the wiring connector to, and then there's two sets of holes with the pin numbers marked on them. You'd take a short wiring harness with a MegaSquirt connector on one end and solder it to the holes that match up with the MegaSquirt functions.
