Flex Fuel AFR

For discussing B&G MS-I/MS-II set-up and tuning of fuel parameters (including idle valves, etc.).

MS2 V3.0 MegaTune
With flex fuel sensor do I set AFR tables for gas or E85?

It is set up so you go from gas to alcohol, but if you planned to mostly run E85 I believe you could set the values for 0 and max fuel and spark correction in reverse order and then tune the AFRs on pure E85. But that is a good point, you should pick one or the other (pure gas or Emax where max is the max amount of alcohol you expect to run).

Do I
enter 14.7 or 9.9?

I would enter 14.7 if you are planning to run mostly gasoline and 9.9 if mostly E85, but your sensor calibration has to be set up the same way. But if you want to run closed loop after you get a good tune, we may need to allow you to input both AFRs and interpolate between them according to the sensor %alcohol.
