RPM doesn't work when testing.

Post by jet47 »

All sensors other than tach work fine when testing.

I have tried all 3 tach circuits, with jumpers in correct positions for each and get no signal on megatune.

I'm leaning toward the stim not putting a signal out.

Has anyone seen this?

I get 3000 rpm briefly when I connect the stim to ms, but nothing afterwards.

There will not be an RPM signal unless MegaSquirt is connected to a running engine.

Turning the RPM pot knob will move the RPM gauge needle, to test the circuit. As for a specific RPM, No

So in Megatune turning the rpm pot should generate a signal like the other pots?

I was able to hook the computer to my vehicle and the computer is working.
I may have damaged something on the stimulator while building it.

Thanks for the help.
