IAC setup

Post by aussie22r »

Ive been looking around at PWM IAC to "Retrofit" to my 22re.

What i'd like to know is if anyone has done this to their car, 22re or not. And which IAC they used

Im looking at something like this:

Thanks

Ive done a bit more reading but cant see why to go PWM over Stepper. Is there any real difference?

Im using the DIYPnP ecu which comes with the outputs for a PWM, will they work for the Stepper iac as well? :?

Thanks

The IAC shown in that link is NOT a stepper, despite what the guys who made that site say. 2 wire IACs are PWM. You would have to build a dedicated stepper circuit to run a stepper IAC.
