Megasquirt relais board wiring

Post by Xirix »

Hi

I have a megasquirt v2.1 and a relaisboard.
When i made the wiringloom i dint look at the relaisboard.
i soldered the mat the clt and the tps returnwire together and
Put them to a ground.
After installing the loom, ms and the relaisboard in the car i
Noticed that there are connecting points clt ret mat ret and tps ret on the relaisboard.
Do i need do pull the wiring loom back out and add those wires to the RB?

Thanks

Mike

It is best to ground the TPS, CLT, and IAT signals to the relay board. However, all the Return terminals are tied together. So if you've wired them all together, you can run that wire to a single Return terminal.

Thanks Matt
But i put the wires together and put them directly to the batterie Ground.
So i dont have any return lines connected to the relais board.
But if the relaisbord just routea them to a ground i should be ok i assume..
Thanks for your help

The relay board grounds the returns to the MS, not the battery. Changing your wiring will reduce noise.
