You could run an ms1 which is the cheaper of all the setups but also most limited. Ms2 is best value in my opinion cause it does everything that the ms1 does and more plus its only a few bucks more. Im running a ms2 on my daily driver and soon to get a ms3 for the nova.
My MegaSquirt build 85 S-15 Jimmy 350/th350 TPI MS2 2.905 hei 8pin

The biggest factor is what you plan to use for ignition. Were you planning to use the stock ignition or swap to something else like a Ford EDIS? If you were going to use the stock ignition, please describe how it works in detail (such as what sensors are in the distributor, or if there isn't a distributor at all).
