VE Table changes

For discussing Phil Tobin's TunerStudio MS is the MegaSquirt edition of TunerStudio, a next generation tuning application. It provides the ability to configure and tune all MegaSquirt controllers and is 100% compatible with MegaTune ini files and msq's.

VE Table changes

Post by Robert Spencer »

When I change the required fuel from 9.2 to 4.4, I get very large numbers in the VE table. I am changing from 20lb injectors to 42 lb for the new turbo addition. I would think the numbers would be smaller for larger injectors? Am I wrong?

If you were using the "reset required fuel" command, this assumes you are changing Required Fuel *without* changing your injectors. Just change Required Fuel itself.

Thanks Matt. Do I have to change required fuel in the ECU before it affects the VE table? Just doing that off line still gives me very large numbers.

I go to injector control under fuel set up and enter the new injector size and it goes from 9.2 with the 20lb injector to 4.4 with the 42lb injector. I am working off line when doing this.

Also when I check the required fuel under VE able, it shows the new number. I get numbers like 159, 147, ect. Can I do this with Tuner Studio?
