PalmTune only for MS I and not for MS II ?

Hi folks,
I've been using PalmLog and PalmTune successfully in the past with a MS I (v2.2) motorbike project.
Now I upgraded that to a Microsquirt (MS II, 2.886 B&G code) and already had fun with all the differences between MS I & II ini-files and tuning parameters.
But now the bike is at least running and I tried to configure my old Palm V / Vx with that ECU.

After some tweaking PalmLog was running, but PalmTune was not. Unfortunately PalmTune used to be one of my most important tools to tune on the road as carrying a 15" laptop is not suitable on a bike.

As the PalmTune download page states that it's for MS I, I wonder if there would be a MS II version or a tweak to make it work ?
The same applies for PalmEdit (which I seldomly used).

With the above mentioned project I was using the 10d2 highres code and I remember having got an upgrade of PalmTune/PalmEdit for the highres flavour.
Maybe that'd be possible for an MS II version of PalmTune, too ?
