Step 41 MS-2 processor operation trouble

Post by david martin »

Hi,

I'm having trouble with step 41 in the Assembly guide ( http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/V3assemble.htm ). I do not see a "time" display in the left hand corner of the Realtime Display in Tuner Studio. I've browsed through the trouble shoot section with no luck. I'm using a power supply for the stim, not a battery. I've attached a screen shot. Every test up to this point has passed, Including the Communications Settings / Test Port. I'm not sure what other information I need to share, so please let me know.

Thanks

That would be correct. That is in MegaTune.... You will not see it in TunerStudio.

Thanks Ken! I feel relieved and stupid at the same time. The assembly guide up to now informed the reader when tuner studio differed from megatune.

Since I passed the communication / test port Is it safe to assume my processor is working correctly and move on?

Thank you!

David,

In TunerStudioMS, on the opening screen with the 8 gauges, right click on any of the gauges and select 'Clock' from the list of gauges. Then you should be able to see the clock count up by one second at a time.

I have fixed the documentation to account for this; thanks for bringing it up!

David,

You are certainly welcome.

I would say so! Looks like you can proceed.

Ken, David;

Thanks to you - and everyone who takes the time to look at the docs and ask/answer forum questions! I sincerely believe it is the best way to improve all aspects of MegaSquirt.
