rx8 megasquirt mega headache

Post by ctchme »

hey guys,
Am trying to convert my 04 rx8 to megasquirt, only issue i have run into so far is that it doesnt have the usual accelerator cable, but is fly by wire, am wanting to keep this, as i love the instant throttle responce. can anyone help me out or point me in the direction of where i can find some info on fly by wire with ms2?

Cheers,

There is none. You want MS, you need a foot throttle cable.

You could leave the stock ECU controlling drive by wire while the MS controls the fuel and ignition, like this:
