Upgrade failed
I was running TunerStudio MS 2.0.4 and I got the upgrade notice dialog box to automatically install the upgrade. I said yes and the download started OK but then it would get 43-60k bytes into the download and would stop and just sit there. This happened for both TunerStudio and MegaLogViewer so I think it must just be an issue with what I suppose is the common upgrade code.
I had this happen on Windows 7 (I still haven't been able to get the Mac TunerStudio to recognize my Serial->USB dongle but that is another issue). When you kill the upgrade you end up with a corrupt jar file.
The easy workaround is to just download the full install and run it.

Re: Upgrade failed
I did just try the update on my Mac version of the code and it worked, so this was only a problem on Windows 7 for me (for both TS & MT).

TS requires administrator rights to update with Win7 - have you tried running it as administrator? But it tells me that here. Perhaps you have a different firewall etc which doesn't even get that far?kredden wrote:Yep, downloaded the installers. The Mac update worked fine, it was just the Windows 7 ones the failed.
