EDIS + Dizzy?

EDIS + Dizzy?
Reason is that I want the engine to look almost stock. (Ignition only install)
Would it be as simple as just connecting both channels to the single coil? (I suspect the coil wouldn't fire once/if the dwell of each channel overlapped)
Any ideas?

ie. You can plainly see the HT lead going from a single coil to the distributor cap!
I will obviously be running a VR + Trigger wheel.
I know this does not seem like a logical thing to do, but there is some method in my madness... Trust me! ;)
