Problems attaching MS2 daughterboard

Post by alibaba »

Hi,

This is my first post so please be gentle ..
My problem is I have a Megasquirt v3 board and 40 pin MS-II daughterboard waiting to be attached to it, but the section to which the daughterboard (DB) attaches is gone and so are the DB's legs, so I guess I will have to solder the contacts direct to the board maybe from the top of the DB or with wires from underneath perhaps. I can see some of the connections from underneath so could solder a wire between some of the more obvious connections, but not all of them unfortunately.
What I really need then is a layout of which DB pin connects to where so I attach it properly, is this available please ?

Thx in advance

Just order some replacement pin sets from Digikey. They're part number ED7764-ND.

Unless the pin holes for the processor in the board are ruined, you'll probably want the socket too - AE10018-ND.
