Updated firmware - AFR 0.0
What do I need to change in TunerStudio to reflect my AFR setup or to troubleshoot? I've only played with the Project Settings and set it to Innovate LC-1 Default.
Thanks!
Edit: Forgot to mention the little terminator plug for the LC-1 is connected.

Re: Updated firmware - AFR 0.0
I did and left it at defaults, but I didn't do that after updating the project settings. I want to think that I had it set to Innovate LC-1 0-5 but can't recall exactly. Will doublecheck when I get a break this morning.LT401Vette wrote:Did you calibrate the AFR table after the upgrade?

I haven't changed my setup in 3 or so years. Did they change an input pin for AFR or something?
NOTE - I have EGO control turned off ATM.

Re: Updated firmware - AFR 0.0
the one thing that makes me thing that isn't it, is that normally it should never say 0 AFR. On every calibration I know of 0v = some some number above 0.
When using the 3.83 firmware that comes with most MicroSquirts you need to use the TS beta for Calibration, but it looks like 2.92 should still be fine with the stable 2.0.x releases.

I updated some info in my 2 previous posts while you were typing that response.LT401Vette wrote:That would probably be a good idea..

I'll try the stim tonight.

"Note that you will need to create a new MSQ by hand rather than rely on the tuning software to correctly interpret an old version (you can export/import the tables to save a lot of effort retyping the MSQ settings). Here is the help file for this code."
That states I need to manually rebuild? Is that valid? =\
Edit - I went ahead and rebuilt it along with a new project. Sitting on it till I hear back from ya tho. ;)

You can import your last msq and simply review any warnings.
I wouldn't worry much about that.

Re: Updated firmware - AFR 0.0
Forgot to recalibrate the AFR on 2.891 before my last post. Recalibrated and the O2 pot moved the AFR. I flashed back to v2.920 and now it moves the AFR from 7.5 to 10.5 ( original v2 Stim ). Will plug it back into the car in the am. /crossfingers

Re: Updated firmware - AFR 0.0
When I first upgraded a week ago, it didn't act like it did last night. A week ago, through some choice I made, I had to choose the type of Megasquirt ECU I was using. I typed 2 and it populated the fields then realized I should have typed 1 since I have a MS-II. It didn't reload defaults for the choice of 1 I don't believe, so I then restored a 2.891 tune and had it convert it properly to the 2.920. This time, I never had to set the ECU. Maybe that was the issue - I had chosen something that required me to choose the ECU, and I mis-chose it ( and it populated fields ) then corrected it and it didn't update the fields and maybe carried along wrong data?
In any case, all seems good now.

Re: Updated firmware - AFR 0.0
I had the same issue. Ran 2.887 for years, updated to 2.891 and didn't notice that AFR was stuck in my logs. I did trace the voltage swing from the O2 pot all the way back to pin #28 on the processor board. So I figured it had to be something. I was going to post a question, when I came across this thread.. I did what you did, went back to old flash and calibrated it.. then it worked.
I just want to thank you for your notes on it, I was about to tear out my hair..
Thanks!
