MS-I Injector bank 1 energized

Post by Err0r4o4 »

I hope someone here can help me figure this out. On a 4cyl I have 12V on each injectors. Bank 2 (pin 34 and 35) has nothing with key on engine off. Bank 1 (pin 32 and 33) has 12V coming out of the megasquirt in same conditions!

My question is this: How is MS doing it? Switch from open to grounded to power the injector or switch from 12v to ground ?

I cant find how to delete this post but I found out that the factory wire to that bank is spliced somewhere to send the squirts signal to a factory trip computer and is somehow energized at key on. I had to re-wire that bank as I was unable to find where the splice is made without taking the whole dash apart.

The MS grounds the injector to operate them. If you have +12v coming out of the injector driver, something is wired wrong.
