Fuel pump prime

Post by maverickh1l »

Okay... Posting again...

MSII V 2.92 code.

I need to increase the duration of my fuel pump prime. I'm not sure if the filter is dirty (shouldn't be since it was just cleaned a few weeks ago after the last fuel pump died) or the pump is weak, but my fuel pressure seems to take forever to build. Once it's up to operating pressure, the system keeps up nicely, but it's getting the pressure up initially that's a pain. Which creates a hard starting situation, especially when it's cold out like it has been the last month.

All I need is an extra second or 2 on the prime, and I can't seem to find the line in the code that needs to be corrected to modify it.

Might be easier to change to Extra - it can then be done via TunerStudio.
