Just for clarification, the leads from the sensor to the EDIS module are not simply positive or negative! One of the wires is actually an a/c signal (often marked +) from the sensor and the other one is grounded back to the module.slow67 wrote:The EDIS crank sensor has a positive and a negative feed from the module.
In my experience there is no canned answer as to the pinout for these sensors. Which particular Ford sensor are you using?

Click on the pic of their sensor and you'll see the connections for that.
The other answer is if it doesn't work try reversing them.
