wiring LC-2 into the relay board

Post by toon1 »

I have read about as much as I can find on this but couldn't find the answer. I have my LC-1 wired to the relay board and it seemed to work fine. The car sat for a while and while trying to restart it, the LC-1 died.

I notice that Innovate is now recommending fuses and a separate relay.

Can I wire the LC-2 to the main power relay on the relay board and use the switched power coming into the board?

Please post some pics. or a good description of how to wire it.

Thanks

You could power it from the fuel pump relay or a separate relay triggered by a split from the switched power wire.

Thanks Matt, Innovate said not to wire it into the FP relay because of the surging of the pump and the on and off of the relay of the pump.

I'm trying to avoid a separate relay if possible.

On the relay board, the relay next to the power and ground inputs is the main relay.

Can I tap into that one somehow?
