Volkswagen temp sensors

Post by Gtiguy123 »

Does anybody know the temperature \ resistance pairs on Volkswagen air and coolant sensors? They're out of a 98 2.0 ABA engine. and I can't find em' anywhere.

Thanks,
John

VW temp sensors are matched to their Gauges, by VDO. (who knows, they may be made by Bosch? VDO?) I don't recall a manufacturor being stamped on them. If you have a Bentley service manual they should tell you the resistance values to test the gauge (from min to max), those values will match your sensor.
