OK now I'm getting somewhere. I had a little trouble with the C32 reference but after 20 mins or so, I got it.

On the Update Utility I get;

ERROR: Unknown error status response, e=0x2A
Elaspsed time: 0.55 seconds

the port checker says:

COM4 Opened
115200 baud
"xx V2.89 Embedded Code by B&G xx"

I'm useing a desk top & a lap top. I can't get the loop back test to work on either. the Laptop has a Keyspan USA=19HS and the desk top is a 9 pin straight through.

My squirt does work with the regular sim & tuner studio on all functions except RPM & of course O2 while I'm on the laptop. I assume that means it's communicating properlly. Maybe not.

It appears to be communicating properly - sounds like you need to troubleshoot the RPM input now.
