Re: poor idle and high revs

Hi everyone,
seem to have resolved the last problem i was having,
As I mentioned earlier, I’m using Suzuki ITB and I read somewhere to use the Suzuki Vacuum damper that comes with the TBs – to smooth out the signal.
I don’t know what is in this little device, but it somehow caused the map signal to behave unpredictably.
For example, so if I blipped the throttle, the map went all the way down to say 20KPa rather than up as I expected it to.
Not only was this confusing to me but also poor old Megasquirt.
I replaced the damper with a couple of 0.8 mm Mig tips which I put into the Map vacuum line - produced a fairly smooth map.
We got the car running reasonably well - but still not 100%.
.
I drove it for an hour tonight and its definitely getting closer
The next step is to get my head around Alpha-N / SD blending .
Thanks all
Sam
