I got something different.... :?

1200 cc/min = 19 lb/hour (sounds reasonable)
19 lb/hr = 8.512 kg/hr
8.512 kg per hr/60 = 141.9 gr/min
141.9 gr per min/60 = 2.36 gr/sec

I certainly could be wrong though........

Ken

It certainly could (close to zero here)... You might want to look at your WUE settings..........

Post the msq you are using to start the car.

Why is your 'Upper Rev Limit' set to 500 rpm? :?

The 'Lower Rev Limit' is where the MS starts retarding spark to slow the engine; 'Upper Rev Limit' is where it chops fuel and spark hard to prevent the pistons and conrods from coming out to have a look around.

If your lower limit is 5500, I would suggest an upper limit of 5800-6000. As it stands, as soon as the revs hit 500, the fuel and spark are cut off!

o no wonder why my rpm would not go above 250 rmp and when it hit it died right away what would be a god setting to have scince its a new engine and its turbo so break in is an issue.

thank you again

what would be a god setting to have
I think Don just told you......

As a side note..... For some reason I can't open any of the tables (VE, Ign or AFR) in the msq you posted..... hmmmmm........

Probably something on my end.......

ok so today i went outside and set the rpm at 6000 on upper and 5500 on lower cleaned the plugs then installed the spark plugs. and tried starting it at first the engine sputtered for about one whole cycle then after that it didnt want anything so i will take out the plugs againe and dry them off what am i doing is it to much fuel for the system or what i i just want it to idle and stay there.

if you guys could please help please give your input i am super open to input as of right now.

thanks again

Anyone know or have a clue as to what is probably may be that is not allowing my car to turn on?
I can't think of anything only that its to much fuel and the only way to regulate it is by turning down the injector characteristics

Can you post a copy of the current tune, after the fixes we discussed, and a data log of an attempted start?

so this weekend i came down to work on the corolla and i was not getting spark well it had rained and my ignition modual gave out. I went to get it tested and sure enough it was bad so now back to the junk yard to pull one off and see what we can find, as far as it goes guys on my injector characteristics i have it set for 2 squirts per cycle could that be why im flooding my cylinder just thought i would ask.
thanks again

I would bump it down to 1 squirt till you quit soaking the spark plugs.

Just came across this, as I'm trying to take in knowledge for my first MS install.

Congrats on marriage and the impending arrival, world changing, my first is 6months old.
Hopefully your last post (referencing needing an O2 sensor connection) indicates that you got the beast running.

A couple of things stood out while reading through this that may or may not still be useful to you or others:

1) 1200cc/min injectors are very large, as in 750hp total for a 4cyl. This might be why you are soaking your plugs while cranking. Unless you are truly planning on making 750hp out of your 3tc 1.9l engine (what is that, 60psi boost?), then consider going with smaller injectors.

2) Fuel delivery calculation
1200cc/min = 114.3 lb/hr
114.3 lb/hr = 51.95 kg/hr
(51.95 kg per hour) x (1000 gr per kg) / (3600 sec per hour) = 14.4 gr/sec
Which I believe is what you initially calculated, someone may have said otherwise.

3) What did you calculate your idle pulse width to be? The megamanual says the following:
"However, do not install injectors with a much larger flow capacity than you need. Very large injectors will create idle pulse width issues that will make tuning very difficult. You can estimate your idle pulse width beforehand. For proper tuning, you will need an idle pulse width of at least 1.7 milliseconds. To calculate the idle pulse width, recall that the fueling equation for MegaSquirt® is:

PW = REQ_FUEL * VE * MAP * E + accel + Injector_open_time"
I'd guess your idle PW is significantly less than 1.7ms with those injectors.
