Red just means the RPM is below running RPM. Do you have a data log of an attempted start?

I know that the tach gauge didn't show any rpm number before making your suggested change, so something happened. No datalog yet, I will try to get one tonite. Also tonite going to make sure i have 12volts when cranking. My voltmeter dropped to 11.07 volts yesterday when cranking. Read that if cranking voltage is below 12volts, system wont work properly.

I thought normal cranking rpm was from 150 to 300 rpm??.

Also center led on MS2 stays on the entire time when cranking.

Cranking volts can go down to below 10 on a cold day. MegaSquirt will still work under 9v.

Thanks dave/trakkies for getting me to the correct forum and for continuing to give out helpful info. Its getting closer to running on its own. Read that some other users had no rpm signals and the voltage was low, so figured i would try kicking the voltage up and seeing what happens.

My Edis module harness didn't have the filter on it, neither does the coil pack harness. Getting the harnesses with both filters this weekend and going to install them on Sunday. Going to try to get a Starting datalog tonite.

Confirm the timing is correct, then adjust cranking pulse width.

Matt,
I dont show any timing in Trigger Wizard when cranking.

Do you want me to use a timing light and check the timing that way??.

Yes, check with a timing light.

:yeah!: Ok Adjusted cranking pulse width and upped the fuel in the warm up enrichment tables, Engine starts and runs. I really think the earlier cranking pulse tolerance adjustment was the issue.

Its running rich but running, now time to adjust fuel and lean it out some.

Thank you Matt and Trakkies for the help.
