Yes. It requires no cam sync signal. Batch firing does not care if the engine is TDC on exhaust or intake stroke of #1. Works great on every BMW before 92. After that, misfire detection with the ability to shut off individual cylinders, stricter emissions at idle, etc. pushed manufacturers to sequential.
