Where can i find a 3 bar map sensor off web, i know some the megasquirt suppliers sell them but i rather just buy it driect from a eletronics place (why pay more for a middle man

You can find an external GM 3 bar sensor under GM P/N 16040749, but the aftermarket replacements run about $100. The original application was a 1989 Pontiac Trans Am turbo 3.8L V6.
The device used in Rodney's kit is Freescale MPXH6300AC6U. It is a surface mount device, which you would have to attach to a small board to install it into your ECU. DigiKey has them for $16.09 each. For the additional cost of Rodney's kit, you get a drop-in replacement for the stock MegaSquirt sensor.
