It says in the manual to clean with toothbrush and 99% alcohol....then wash it all off with water? That seems to go against all my thoughts on water and electronics! Do they mean like, hold it under the tap to rinse it off or a wet cloth....ect. thanks, Jeff

Yes, you wash it under hot water. It seems wrong, but it is fine as long as youy don't have power applied tpo the board at the time.

Lance.
does that hurt the map sensor? I just finished building the main board, and cleaned it with 91% isopropyl alcohol, but I have some white residue left over. Is it safe to completely douse both sides of the board with the alcohol & scrub, then run under hot water?

This is my first electronics project, at least on a pcb. I would think it would damage some of the transistors or voltage reg.
thanks for any information
