Has anyone got a solution to the trigger wheel issue with lS1s?

I really don't want to drop the Crankshaft just to change the triggerwheel- is there another way round this seeing as the nose of the crank doesn't have any sort of key to fix a new wheel to?

Hvae tried searching all over the place and just can't come up with anything apart form changing the wheel on the crank.

Any pointers or help in the right direction are very much appreciated

Mount a wheel to the front pulley?

just wondering if anyone had sorted interpretation of the LS1 crank wheel yet- i'm just about to drill the crank for a pinning kit but would like to use the original crank sensor where possible!

Depending on whether you monitor rising or falling edge, the LS1 crank signal is either an even 24 pulse per revolution wheel (or 58x on the new LS2/7/etc.) -- or its a unique long/short pulse sequence for each quadrant of crankshaft rotation.

I made this for my saturn. Its a ford edis trigger wheel mounted to the stock pulley. It wasn't that hard to do...just gotta know the right people with the right laser

I'm pretty sure that you could do something similar with whatever type of wheel you need.
