valve to allow air into maifold when AC compressor engages

To avoid a big drop in rpm and frequent engine stall situation when the ac compressor engages I want to extra allow air into the engine via a 12v air valve when the compressor turns on. My car came with two emissions related valves that control the venting of the fuel vapors from the charcoal canister, but I found that the valves would not open against the engine vacuum at idle. I need something like a 12v idle valve. What is the cheapest item I could find to do the job? Are there egr valves that are controlled by 12v? I'll limit the amount of air using an external adjustment valve of some sort.

Thanks.

Do you have a throttle body with an arm sticking out that could be pushed against?

If so, look for an anti-diesel solenoid off a 70's GM with a V8. It's a very short throw solenoid that has a 100% duty cycle (you can leave it on all the time!).

Hook it up to the A/C control line, so that each time the compressor cycles, it simply bumps the throttle up (the opposite of it's intended use!).

Low tech... but..... :D

haha, that is a barbarian type of solution. I may as well find a small animal that could survive underhood to do something like this :)

just kidding of course, but i think I ran across some infomation on fast idle valves that gives an example of parts that could be used.
