Hi folks
i need some more help. I have decided on the v3 board (even though I will not be running the ignition through megasquirt) and I will convert to GM sensors but for the o2 sensor (yes folks just a normal narrow band sensor) I see bosch universal 4 wire sensors between 25 and 50 dollars. They have similar numbers and look the same, do o2 sensors differ in what their output is or can I just go for the cheapest 4 wire bosch I can find that will go into a standard bung?

thanks for the help

All 1,2,3 and 4 wire O2 sensors are narrowband sensors and all have the same output.

I have tuned many an engine using just plug readings and rear end dyno. Tuning with a narrow band sensor is easy, though it can fool you if you don't understand what's going on. Once you get the hang of it though it's a breeze. You still have to tune the top end high load areas by the seat of your pant's along with plug readings.

A wideband greatly simplifies this process, though it's just as easy to messup your AFR table and have a marginal running engine as a result.
