Failed injectors = super low impedance?

Okay, about two weeks ago my engine ground strap came off the firewall, leaving my engine electronics including the MS and lc-1 ungrounded. So I killed my megasquirt.

FixItAgainTony helped me bigtime and I'm pretty sure I've fixed the MS unit, but I'm still having a devil of a time getting the car running again... it's TBI so I can watch the injectors as I'm turning the car over and there's just a little dribble of fuel coming out, not a powerful jet.

I popped the leads off the injectors and they're now reading basically no impedance. I seem to remember 'em reading about 3-5 ohms or somesuch when I checked them when first installing MS.

Is measuring across the leads on the injectors accurate? If so is it safe to say I killed my injectors too?

thanks!

Yes, measuring across the pins is the right way to do it. If you are reading no resistence, then yeah, they are toast. I would have expected however for them to fail with a very high to infinite resistence.

Do you have your MS setup so that the LED flashes when the injectors are getting a pulsewidth? Check to make sure the LED is lighting up when you are cranking.
