HI folks
couldn't find this in the archives but I have just pulled the edis8 off a 1991 lincoln town car along with the coil packs but there was no 36 toothed wheel on the crank with a sensor. Does anyone know if these can be mounted on the flywheel end? I couldnt get under the car but the scrapyard will lift it if I know that the sensor is mounted on the flywheel end rather than the front end.

Help greatly appreciated

for anyone who needs it the vr sensor on a 1991 licoln town car is on the RHS head and is run off the chain driven camshaft rather than the crankshaft

I think it makes a difference which engine you are talking about here.

A 36-1 wheel can be mounted on just about any engine, I've seen them on everything from single cylinder Briggs to V12's.
