PTC sensor config

Post by Haudi »

Yes I know EasyTherm can't do it, but I figure the people reading here will be able to point me in the right direction. My coolant sensor (Bosch) is NTC, no problem, but my IAT sensor is a Japanese PTC sensor. For something like 6 years (second group buy) I've been using GM sensors on my Audi, but with a recent few changes I've got my heart set on using stock sensors.

I've looked arround for a few days now and can't really find much info on exactly what I need to do. I'm sure it's out there and I just can't find it. Could somebody point me in the right direction please?

P.S. v2.2 board, MS-I, MSnS-E firmware.

I (crudely) plotted my sensor readings:

Image
Going is up resistance in thousands of ohms, going right is temp. Not plotted is the last reading of the CLT sensor I took @ 200 degrees F.

CLT:
100ohm = 203*F
260ohm = 140*F
400ohm = 120*F
470ohm = 110*F
687ohm = 92*F
784ohm = 85*F
1394ohm = 53*F
1728ohm = 43*F

IAT:
547ohm = 128*F
530ohm = 112*F
513ohm = 91*F
508ohm = 86*F
497ohm = 73*F
493ohm = 68*F
469ohm = 40*F
