Hello,

I'm interested in solving the Steinhart Hart Equation.
I want to know how each parameter can be detected. I've found a ew programs which solve the equation and sho the Steinhart Parameters, but I want to solve it "by hand".
Are there any related lnks? Please help!

Thank you!

It's pretty simple, I think I did it by hand to verify the algorithm before I added it to the gentherm program back in 2001 or whenever it was... Here's the page I wrote up at the time: http://www.not2fast.com/megasquirt/doc/thermistor.html

The simplest way to determine the three coefficients is to in plug the temperature and resistance values into the equation for 3 different points, this will give you three linear equations with 3 unknowns from there it's just simple high school algebra to solve for the unknowns.
