ms equation states ve entry in function of 100% value is that 0 to 100% sampled from 0 to 255?
i checked the pw equation of ms and found that doubt.

if im running at about 6500 rpm and use values up to ve=100 perhaps i can reach my goal of .8 or .9 volts at full throttle without replacing my 14 lb inj.

that leads me to a second question.... does an engine of a aircooled type 1 vw with a 40 degree overlap requires less fuel ?

an interesting thing happened at idle speed i was reading megamanual and it says dont use stoich o2 corr at .45 v when using high overlap camshaft so i tryed to run richer and guess what engine stalls.

If i remove fuel until i reach 0 volt on the O2 sensor and then remove 8 points less on the ve entry at that point or those points engine gets nice almost stable idle same happens for light load parts of the ve table at the highways just when at .45 volt engine hessitates if i use 0 volt and remove 8 points on the ve table engine begins to run fine.
O2 sensor works fine and is not damaged
tested 5 O2 sensors with the same result all of them narrow band with heater.
On the exhaust i find a brown-red dry dust more brown than red and same on the sparkplugs and an ugly smell on the exhaust wich makes my eyes cry if i increse fuel its the same smell + gas. So im running with the ugly smell and getting around 46 to 48 mpg on highway.
Any way to control that ugly smell wich i think its NOX?

running richer... nox is a typical byproduct of running lean...
