Rail insall

Hi all,
I'm starting to build a fuel rail for my classic Saab 900 and I have 2 options. I'd like to use bits of an OEM rail that has the clamp type injector fittings. After chopping the rail into several suitable lenght bits, I will braze those together niecly. Now it would be easier for me to actually bolt the injectors to the manifold and leave the rail free, ie holding to the injectors with the clamps only, as opposed to the OEM fittings, where the rail is bolted to the manifold and pushes the injectors snug into their bungs.
Is this going to be enough or will the rail fly off with the pressure?
Thanks for your help, Seb
