Hot Start Trouble w/ Air Cooled Engine

Hey Guys,
I've got my KZ1000 motorcycle running pretty decent on a v3.0 MS-II w/ 2.88 code for the last week or so. However, I'm having startup troubles when hot and I wanted to run something by you.
My temp tables currently run from 40°-160°F. Since it's a bike, I don't need cold temps. However, since it's a air cooled engine, 250°F operation is pretty common from what I've seen so far. Currently, I'm running WUE up to about 120° or so; beyond that, it's just 100% WUE. Since this temperature table is used for WUE, ASE, AS taper, & cranking pulses, I'm often waaayy out beyond the right edge of the chart.
Is it acceptable for me to change my temp tables to run from 40° to 260° with the main intent only being to use those higher temp values for cranking & afterstart tuning? I'd still be off WUE by about 120°, no need to change that.
Thanks,
