have been lurking awhile reading posts and have run across a few that have me asking questions.can i order the microsquirt with the added board mod for an added ign channell to run 4 coils and use the stock pickups?or is this something i need need to perform my self?this is a 70degree v-4 odd fire.and have seen that it takes some doing to get the ign portion sorted on a v-max.i will be turbochargeing and will add fuel after i get the ignition straightened out.would really be great if i didnt have to add a wheel as its tight on this engine.any thoughts?thanks mike

This one is a bit tough to figure out as I've been unable to find a couple key bits of data on the V-max. First, how many crank degrees separate each cylinder firing - that is, is it something like 90-270-90-270, or what? Second, what do the trigger wheels for the stock sensors look like?

The old V Max was a 70 deg offset and the new one is 65deg. It is basicly two 70 deg v twins with the cranks offset 180 deg.
The ignition has one tooth on the flywheel and two pickups, but each pickup actually contains two pickups. Each cylinder has its own wasted spark ignition system. I don't think it is going to be possible to run Megasquirt on this motor.
