I have a MSII using the recomended GM manifold temp sensor. The sensor is reading high. When it should be 60 degrees it is reading 300 degrees. I replaced the sensor with a new one and it does the same thing. Any ideas?

WHe you configure the therm table, just select the sensor you want, leave the numbers be, and make sure its set to celsius. If you choose farenhiet, it will be off.

If you are calibrating it correctly....

This sounds like you night have a sensor that gets one wire. There is two versions of the sensor. The two wire grounds back to the ecu, the one wire sensor grounds throught the engine.

If you plug the two wire harness into the sensor that takes one wire, the reading will be high like you are getting. The one wire sensor still has 2 leads in it...it allows the 1 wire harness to be installed in two ways 180degrees from each other.

Figured it out. I took everything apart and found the hood on the DB37 connector rubbed the shilding off two wires and shorted them out with the metal hood. Everyting is working fine now.
