Power on pin#9 serial port.

So after so so so many hours of bluetooth testing at trouble shooting I found that when I can get my bluetooth to link I would get very bad readings on all my sensors and I knoticed this with ms out of the car and nothing hooked to it other than power and ground. Being as it is a ms2 It has the map sensor on the bord I expect that reading to be clean but the map had small spikes (which in a data log it would show mapdot of 30+) and this all works fine with a serial cable. This only happens with the bluetooth adapter. I have tried three bluetooth adapters and so far this is the only one to work. I have tried 3 usb bluetooth adapters as well and all work the same. SO I after hours and hours have limited my problems to two things.
#1 I cut the pin #9 out of one of my serial cables and powerd the bluetooth serial adapter from its 110 wall adapter and it works smooth just like a cable. Perfactly!
#2 If I use certain usb adapters I cannot get megatune to connect to the link because it wants to create on com port that is a high number. it seems that if the virtual com port is below 10 both computers will be fine with tunerstudio or megatune. But if it is over com port 10 it will only work in tunerstudio. It is like there is a limit to what megatune will alow for a com port number.
For #1 I figure is one of two things are wrong I have a bad conection in the ms circutry on power or ground, or my bluetooth adapter uses to mugh power. The power supply is rated to 5v & 300milliamps.
For #2 I figure there is sometihing in megatune that needs to be changed. I have set all com ports as I create them in devicemanager to 115200 so I dont think it is anything other than megatune!
Where Do I go from here?
