MS2-V3: Trouble With Step 55

I'm doing the testing at step 55 and it's not going so well. Everything has been by the book to this poing. I installed both the hall and VR circuits. The jumpers are in place to select the hall circuit. I reran the tests from the power supply test. It's fine. I also am able to reload the code. I've loaded 2.890. The IG LED stays lit when the bootload jumper is shorted. When open, the IG LED blinks once and then stays dark as power is applied.

MegaTune indicated a low voltage problem. I have the stim connected to a 12v supply. I don't see any sensor results on the realtime display. The ECU shows connected. When I open a file in MegaTune and try to load it to the CPU it reports that there is low voltage.

D1 and D2 are jumpered if that matters. I've double and triple checked the diode orientation. C30 was left open.

What have I missed?

Often, low voltage messages are a sign of corrupted firmware. Try reloading the code and see if that helps.

Thanks Matt. Here is what I did. I downloaded a fresh 2.89 file and ini. After loading it I had the same problem. I then used MS Download 2.0 to download and the 2.88 code and ini from the Internet. That solved the problem. I was able to complete the assembly tonight and am watching my blinking injector LEDs while I type this. Now I'm a bit gun shy about trying the 2.89 code again.

Now the fun really begins.
