MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

I've just assembled a second MSII, V3.0 and found an issue,

One is that the Map reading is 75kpa with no vac line connected - shouldnt it be 100kpa?
The map settings in the calibration screen are 10 and 260 as per the instructions.

Voltage on pin 1 of the sensor is 1.78 volts, and the same voltage is present on pin 23 of the cpu board

Any ideas on what to check?

Your altitude, first. I'm not sure where you live, but in some cities that's actually normal. Are you using a 2.5 bar, 4 bar, or 3 bar MAP sensor?

its the std sensor in the kit,
Found the problem though, it was a bad 10k resistor R6 which also made my voltage show as 27v.
Replacing the resistor solved the problem
