MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

Hey Guys,

I have finished building my Megasquirt II ECU. However I cannot get a reading from the MAP sensor!!!. All it says is 102.3. when I suck on the pipe the value doesnt change. I am not using a stimulator I am using a power supply 12V regulated. I can get the stats from the rest of the gauges but not the MAP. I thought it wasnt a requirement to buy a Stim.

I know that the CPU is getting a correct reading from the MAP sensor because the value on Pin 3 on the CPU changes up and down when I suck on the pipe. but nothing happens is megatune or tunerstudio.

ok....I have tested the other sensors, I cannot get a reading from any gauges.....weird. I get a response from megatune to say that megasquirt is there. but no action on the gauges.

Can anyone help please?

OK. more progress. there is a reading on the gauges. however It isnt in real time. If I suck on the MAP Sensor, and reset the MS, then it gives a reading of what the value was at that time.

Any Ideas??

What is the reading on pin 1 of the MAP sensor, and does it change when you suck or blow on a tube connected to the sensor?

I got it to work..... I reloaded the Code to the Chip. I had the buffers on originally. turned them off then reflashed. all ok. at least till today when I set it up in the vehicle. I cant seem to get anything else than 80C on the temp sensor. even unplugged I get 80C. My intake temp sensor works kind of. I havent set the thermistor tables properly. but I should get some sort of reading from the realtime display when the sensor is unplugged right??
