V3.0 boards normally have the flyback board built in, so you just need to enable PWM current limiting in the software.

im not seeing a place to enable it. i know under injector characteristics i can change it. it is set to current 100% and time is 25.4. i know the site with the injectors say the peak setting is 4 amp and hold is 1 amp

You are in the right place to enable it. Start with a time threshold of 1.0 and 25% current limiting.
