Big Mopar Question

I am thinking about M.S for my 451 Mopar. I think about 900CFM with 4 85's may be enough but I want a real world user to comment on what he/she uses. I see lots of HEI and Ford distributors being used for spark timing, but I want to stay Mopar if at all possible. Also, the premade TB's are very expensive, much more than even a prepped QFT or Demon 850 and there are still injectors to buy. So what should I start with, a used Holley 4D anolog setup? Complete newbie to this so be gentle! Thanks, And money IS an object....

A secondhand 950 cfm Holley TBI ought to work fine here. Some of them lack an idle air control valve, so check into which one you're getting.
If you're using a Mopar distributor, and want the MS to control the ignition, the best one to grab for this engine would be off a 400 Lean Burn. We have an article on using that distributor with MS here:

That is great info in that link. My next question would be if anyone has tried to use 2 2bbl TB's like the Corvette cross fire intake (2 TBI's on a cross ram manifold) I was thinking that only 1 IAC could be used, but both TBI's would be functional, maybe wireing the injectors like a 4 bbl, but in a 2X2 fashion? 2 junkyard 670 TBI's are cheap, one 950 is expensive!! this may turn out to be my first TBI project.

I've seen dual TBIs done before, not sure if trying to run two IACs or just use one IAC is best, but some trial and error should establish what works.

Thanks Matt, Im doing a '65 Barracuda, so I think you know what I might have in store. A low rise dual quad intake on a stroked 400 big block running 2 670 TBI's. The whole induction package Should be cheaper than even 1 950 Throttle body. Mallory Hy-fire 7 and Crane E-coil doing the lighting.
