Lean off idle

Post by Ford347 »

I have a problem that I don't know how to fix. As I give the car alittle gas right off of idle the car goes really lean. This is with the car in neutral. I have not driven it yet. In the datalog it is when the car is around 1000-1500 rpm and a MAF reading of 20 g/s. It seems ok above those values. I don't think it is the MAF correction values as it would need to be increased a lot at 20 g/s, while the values around it seem ok.

I am using MS2 with code 2.89 running MAF only mode.

Try adding more acceleration enrichment and see if that can tune it out.

I didn't think accel enrichment should effect that. I can hold it at 20 g/sec and it will run consistently lean. I tried lowering it to see if it was too rich but that didn't work.
