Hi, Does it make any difference as to which ground connections are utilised when connecting Megasquirt?
I have made 7 ground connections from the DB37 to the battery but the unit will only fire up if I ground the megasquirt case as well. The unit functions fine on the stim

All the grounds are the same, but you might want to be sure there isn't rust or corrosion interfering with your ground lug, or maybe a missing engine ground strap. Grounding the MS case can create ground loops.

You where correct Matt, I had only roughed the wiring in and was checking the operation as I went........my temporary grounds where not good enough
