AFR stuck at 13.4 after a long drive

Post by pocketscience »

Hi,

I was nearing the end of a 2 hour drive when I noticed on my Megaview that my AFR was stuck at 13.4. Shortly after this the car started lurching, coughing etc. It actually stopped the minute I pulled into my garage! After I unpacked the car I restarted her and everything was perfect - idling fine, AFR responding as expected.

Any thoughts what to look for here? I've had my MS2/MV installed for some months now without seeing this before. We did experience some heavy rain towards the end which might indicate a bad connection somewhere?

Oh it's a standard Innovate LC-1 WB setup.

One tip - you can check the LC-1's output with LogWorks to see if the LC-1's actual readings are stuck or if the MegaSquirt is getting the wrong signal.

It'll be hard to nail this one down without being able to capture a data log of the problem happening.

Thanks Matt - figured unless someone had seen this exact thing before it'd be impossible to guess where the problem might lay. I'll just keep an eye on it and hopefully next time it happens I have my lappie in range.
