NEW Edis Connectors?

Post by jahjahSQC »

I'm looking for some new coil/module/Vr sensor connectors.

Is anyone aware of a place to buy them at? Apparently the dealer can't get them.

The idea of reusing old contact parts for EDIS is not bad, the quality of the parts is amazingly good.
Removing old wires from the connector pins is certainly feasible. A dremel, patience and som practice is what
you need . Pry open the strain relief thongs, grind off the top of the crimp part, jiggle out the strands and presto.
The new wires must be soldered in, however. Not a problem , and since the silicon rubber sealing strip is holding
the wires very well , vibration is not a problem.
But, it would be nicer buying new metal contact parts and crimping in the new wires.
Thanks for the last link with EDIS sleeves and pins, will ceratinly buy!

And EDIS is the perfekt system for me!
